Dearest SANCHA:
Its been 14 years since the last time I saw you.
Its been horrible thinking about how you left this place,
and how I never got to say good-bye.
But after all this time I have found a place where I
can tell you. If things could have been different.
If I could have been there. If I could have stopped
the car from hitting you. I would have changed
everything about that night.
The car never stopped.
I'm so so so sorry. I was only ten. Have never
stopped thinking of you.
Mom found you when I was 3 years old and you
were always by my side never away except while I was
in school. You were the best and always will be.
Through the years mom and I have acquired quite a few
dogs and they are special but they are not you.
Now that your lil sis is married I have my own
6 to be exact. And there's a little of you in each of them.
Thank you for all the wonderful memories I have of
you and I and someday I know you'll be there waiting
for me along with the rest of the crew.
I found out the other day what SANCHA meant and it means
GIRLFRIEND and you were my girlfriend and bestfriend.
Sorry it took so long to talk to you.
I love you and miss you terribly everyday.
