You are our angel with us for far too short a time.
We will always
remember how loving you were.
We will remember the way you would take flying leaps into the lake
and how fast you could run.
We will remember you sunning yourself on the deck for hours
and how your ears stood straight
up when you faced the wind.
We will remember that you barked at everything
but the doorbell and
how you cuddled up to us each night.
Most of all we will always remember how very special
you made our lives.
