and miss you?
It is more than I can express
in mere words.
Only my heart and soul can feel
the depths of my love for you
and I believe that
you know as well.
I miss your little barks and howls
and hearing you gallop
along the side of the house.
I miss looking out
my bedroom window
and seeing you lie in all
of your favorite places.
I miss just knowing that
when I need cheering up
that you would always be
there for me.
But most of all
I miss having you
sit on my lap
where I could hold you and
hug you and kiss you
to show you how much
you mean to me.
I will always love you
my sweet Baba Booey
and I know that some day
we will be reunited again.
