My little princess
You came to us as a little kitten. You were still so young that you would knead my face and suck on my bottom lip because you thought you were still eating from your Mommy. I never was a cat person until we got you October 9th 1996. You always loved people and even people who didn’t like cats fell in love with you. I miss you so much. Through the 6 years you were here with us, You gave us so many great memories to remember you by. Here are some of my favorites..
You as a tiny little kitten sleeping in a baseball hat and still having room..Cutest thing I ever saw
Seeing you bounce back after nearly dying from being sick when you were only 1 1/2 years old. When you truly turned into the spoiled Princess you had become :o)
When you would go help yourself to the cheesesteak, roast beef, or whatever else looked good sitting on the stove top. When everyone was yelling to get you off the counter, I couldn’t help but laugh my butt off
I miss hearing your 3 different bells you would wear come jingling into my room after I was almost asleep. Only to have you wake me up again to jump on my legs and sleep there.
One of the memories I always think of is when you would come jump on my belly and lay down so you would be right by my heart. I miss that the most.
But I think my favorite memory would be when we picked you up from the vet on November 4th, 2002. I said my good-byes to you the day before. I thought you were going to have to go that day. But you didn’t. That day we got you from the vet I had tears in my eyes. I know you were still sick, But you were so happy to see us that you didn’t show it. We only had you for a month after that, But it was a month more than I thought. God had given me one last chance with you. You had a great last Thanksgiving with us.
Princess, We only got to spend 6 years with you. But those 6 years were worth every tear I’ve shed since you’ve been gone. I know you are at Rainbow Bridge now and I know that you will be waiting. And when it is my time to go I will take comfort in knowing that.
