Jack was our friend, our playmate, our spirit. We will miss him, but we know he is in heaven waiting for us.

Jackson Browne Garrard brought so much joy into our lives. I’m afraid we spoiled him terribly because our children have grown up and all have apartments of their own so when it was just the two of us here, at least we had Jack to dote on. He never failed to run and greet us like it was the happiest day of his life whenever we came in the door– even if we had only been gone for ten minutes.

He was our watchdog, our early warning system, our lap dog in the evenings when we were watching tv. And he was the smartest little fellow we had ever seen. We had to spell some words in front of him, because he was so smart.

We loved him with all of our hearts and will miss him forever.
