My Dearest Shelby,
I will miss you so much. You were a loving dog. I am so sorry I couldn’t make your disease go away and I am so sorry I took you from our last home in Ohio. I prayed you would get better, and hoped you could make our trip back to Ohio, but your little body couldn’t fight that horrible disease anymore, but now you will be with your brother in heaven. Me, Daddy and your sister Prissy Ann will miss you badly. It was so hard for Mommy to send you away, and my heart is still hurting, and my tears come without control, for losing you was very hard. You were more than a friend, you were my girlfriend. Your Daddy who wasn’t able to be with us.
He will miss you. too.
You and him had your own special love and bond, like jumping up on the futon, while he was showering for work, and eating french fries by the fireplace with him. His heart is heavy, too, and he will miss you lots! May God keep you, until we meet again, I love you, Lee Lee.
