Wootser also known as Miss Independent. She was our mascot in trucking. She went on the road with us & traveled most of the United States. She was a lover. She only weighed 6 pounds but her cry sounded like 60 pounds. She had the look of intelligence which was plenty. She trusted in me to jump from high places in my open arms.
She also was an indoor kitty but was a great escape artist. She would jump into the pantry on Saturdays knocking a can of moist cat food on the floor letting me know it was her day to have a treat. Her little plastic farm animal that was a sheep would rest on the end table in a coaster & she would come and get it when she wanted to play hockey with it. She tolerated the other pets that came along, but ignored them to her convenience also. We were with her to the end.
It was so hard to let go but compassion is knowing when. She will forever live in our hearts. She gave to us what we gave to her & memories are what we have left.
Thank God for that.
With dignity, respect, & most of all love,
