As I sit here and grieve my “Forever Friend” I know that you are in a better place. It’s just that I wasn’t prepared to lose you. I thank God for the years and the memories that he allowed us to have. I pray that I may be as worthy as you to reach heaven and see you again. At every turn I expect to see your loving face and wagging tale. You don’t know how much I miss you and the void you have left in my heart. I’m sorry that I wasn’t with you but no one knew how sick you were. You have taught me to love like no other entity could. I know that time will help me cope but your memory will be with me always. Thanks for being such a good boy “Pooh”.
