Chamberlin was a one in a million cat….so friendly and sweet and yet the terror of all the moles, birds, rabbits and other neighborhood creatures. We referred to him as the “Mayor” of the street, as he had full control!
Chames always had time for a cuddle and a snuggle and he loved his daddy and his best buddy Rocky (our yellow lab) most of all. He was a wonderful friend and teacher to our Allie cat and he never minded when Red (our hounddog) or Molly (our Springer)walked on him or tried to play. He taught Allie how to play outside and how to get home safely when it was time to come in.
Sadly last year after Christmas, Chames went outside for his daily romp and we never saw him again. We hoped for many many months that we would see his face at the back door or see him run in with the dogs. We know that Chames has left this world and we hope he left knowing that his sweetness and his love have left pawprints on our hearts that will never go away.
We have gotten 2 new babies in Chames absence, Fred & Barney, are his spitting image and both have many of his special traits. We smile as we watch them because they remind us every day of how special he was.
Chames we know that you are at the rainbow bridge hanging out with Trooper, Spoofie, Bruno, Abby and Jake…just waiting for the day that we will see you again. We all miss you…especially Allie who cried at the backdoor for many days waiting for you to come home.
With all our love
