I wasn’t even born yet when my parents adopted a young german shepherd puppy. her name was Sadie Mae. Sadie was a great dog. She played with my brothers and sisters. when i was born, she was very careful. She always wanted to play with me. As I grew up I played with her and I loved her. When we moved, we had a big back yard that we all loved to play in. She loved to go in the front yard and
run around with us.
She grew up and it was beginning to get hard for her to keep up with us. She started to get really weak. She didn’t eat very much. When we played with her in the end, she tried so hard to run down to the end of the yard and play but it was hard and she started to get weaker and weaker. One morning I came down and said “Where is sadie”. She wasn’t in her usual spot by the door. Her food was still there. My mom said that she was at the Vets for a checkup. I didn’t worry because I didn’t know. I came home and my parents, my siblings and I went up to my parents room, they said “We went to take sadie out, she was outside on her rug, but she didn’t wake up, she layed there.” Kid’s, Sadie died this morning! We all started to cry, but we knew that Sadie went to a happier place. We miss her to this day and
we will never forget her.
We miss you Sadie!
