Goliath you left us two weeks ago so suddenly. I remember seeing you that morning, I had no idea you were so sick. I am so sorry baby.
Your best buddy Branden found you that night and he took care of you by himself. He wouldn’t let us help, it was his place because you were always there for him. Watching you and him in the back of the truck that night broke my heart. Laying together like you have so many times, right next to one another with your paw on his shoulder, I knew that was the last time you two would snuggle. I don’t think he remembers a time in his life without you. He made the hardest choice in his young life that night, to let you go and end your suffering. Now he struggles to make it through every day, instead of laying in bed with you he sits and thinks of you. You are his best friend and I believe he would give everything up to have you back.
Stormy still sits in the window looking for you and she sits next to you in our front room. Branden says she knows you are there.It’s funny how much shes like you now. Daddy and Becky miss you bunches too!!!! We are all trying to help Branden through this.
I love you you so much and I miss everything about you. Our house is so quiet now but I know your spirit is still here with us and I promise you that I will take care of Branden for you.
