A letter to Koa at the Rainbow Bridge:
Dear Koa, It has been 8 weeks tonight since you left this earth to go to the sandy beaches by the Rainbow Bridge and a day does not go by that I don’t think about you. You were such a spirited little dog and so beautiful that many people thought you were a girl. How can I begin to tell you how much you are missed, I can’t but I wish I could hold you once more just to tell you how much and how much you were loved. I just took for granted that you were going to be with us for a long time. How could I know that you were only borrowed to us for a year and eight months. There just seemed to be so much yet to be done. Now there is nothing for us left to do together. You have a new journey that does not include us. I do hope there is a place they call the Rainbow Bridge so that one day we will be together again. I will write again soon. Please bark at the stars for me tonight so I can hear you and know you are o.k. and happy up there. I love you today, tomorrow and forever.
Love You,
