I came home from work one day and to my surprised I walk in my son room and there was a chihuahua in his arm and then I went into my daughters room and there was a chihuahua in her arms. WE already had a 14 year old dog midnight at that time she was getting old and worn down. I did not like chihuahua as I had a bad experience with my Aunt dog growing up and it bit my ankle. Well of course who did these dog snuggle up to yep me.
When we lost our first chihuahua Roscoe I was heartbroken. He was my little follower . He was always at my side after my 2 brain surgeries when he left us our little star became my baby. She went through a lot she had 3 liters 10 puppies all together. Star nickname was star wars and she was a big ham. Se graved attention all the time. She would sit with me always. She would even sleep with me. When I went away on a London trip star stop eating. The vet thought it was because I wasn’t there. She started having seizures she would just fall out. She has always been there for me with my seizures I felt bad when I wasn’t there to help her what she was going through. When I came back she continue having them. She was eating again but her little 6 pound body was wearing out.
I would hold her so she could drink. We kept one of her puppies snuggles who will be 10 in august ,snuggles would bark every time something was wrong with her mama. We had to make the hardest decision of our life my husband call the vet to put our star to sleep, she didn’t make it for that appointment. I held her the whole day of June 15 finally when I went to get a drink I came back and notice her bowels went on the cover and I called my husband and said I think our star is dying she took 2 more breath and was gone. My husband buried her and that night we went to the store after and we look in the sky and the rays of the sun was making an angel we both said look at that it is beautiful and we both said an angel came to take our star she is all right.
Snuggles is having a hard time without her mama but I am glad I have snuggles a part of her mama and daddy we had. I can tell you now I love chihuahua and I wouldn’t get any other type of dog.
