To Our Dearest Bistro,
You have given us unconditional love and joy over the past 12 years. Not only were you the smartest dog in the world, but you always knew how to comfort us by snuggling in our arms and sleeping next to us at night. Boy, did you had spunk and energy, always ready to play with your little brother Beau, play Buddy Ball with us or bark at a stranger. You were always by Mommy’s side when she was sick and made each and every morning special
with your loving kisses.
We hope you had fun snuggling with Mommy on Saturday night and heard her say how much she loved you. We’re both glad you had a chance to take a ride in the car with your brother on Sunday. We never knew how sick you were because you were a brave little boy, but we’re happy that you didn’t suffer and that your brother was with you when you passed on to Heaven.
It doesn’t seem right to talk about you in the past tense. Words cannot express how we feel without you. There is a void in our lives and everyone you touched that will never be able to be filled.
We know you’re listening to us in Heaven right now. Please know that until we see you again we will always love you and embrace with warmth the joy you brought to us.
