Morgan by Steve Reuter / From Bruce

The day they laid you down to sleep

I prayed to the Lord; your soul he’ll keep

Until the appointed day and time

when together we’ll meet; and all will be fine

With all God’s; creatures great and small

go run and play now, have a ball

No more aches; and no more pain

just bright sunshine; no more rain

Rest in peace; for now best friend

cradled in God’s arms; to the end

Dream of that special; day and time

when we’ll meet at the Bridge; one last time

Morgan was one of my best friends dog, and she was always my buddy.
From the times when she was young and we would take her to work with us every day, she never complained, always glad just to be with the guys.

When my friends asked me to watch her for two weeks while they went on a vacation, of course I said yes.She was only about two years old then. Morgan jumped into my truck and away we went to my house….she never once wimpered or cried for her owners, she knew me from her puppy days and knew she was safe.

Of course me living at the beach and taking her swimming every day probably helped!!

As time moved on, I would only see Morgan once or twice a year, but she always went crazy when she saw me, like she never forgot our two week vacation time.

No one could ever ask for a better dog, or friend.
She passed quickly, unexpectedly, and without any suffering, for this I am glad.

Such a kind loving soul as Morgan does not deserve to suffer.

I will miss my fat yellow friend.
