Zander joined our family in 2002. When his best friend Spyke started getting oldand sickly a few years ago he took care of him. Spyke went to the rainbow bridge not long after. About a year ago Zander started having problems himself. He would still sit on the edge of his cage door at night and talk to me. He would say he was mamas pretty boy. If I asked who loved him he would say Mama. He was fast friends with our dog Phinni. he was so funny and loving. He brought so much happiness and joy to our family. I miss him so much. It is hard to lay down at night to sleep with out hearing him talk.
To: My Zander, You will never have to deal with that tumor again. You were unable to fly the last several months. Still you remained a faithful friend. Now you can fly. I am sure you and Spyke are having a ball right now. Say hello to Buttons, Norby, Angel, Bubbles and all your cousins at the Rainbow Bridge. I miss you my sweet little birdie. You will always be Mama’s pretty boy.
