Panther by Sue Akins / Your loving Mom

Panther, my precious and faithful boy. My heart is broken and I can’t stop crying. From the day you came into my life you have brought me joy, happiness, and fun. I will never forget the many trips we made in “your RV”. You always got so happy and sat on the steps of the camper whenever you knew we were going on a trip.

You were my faithful and loving friend on so many trips. We went all over the country together and had so much fun. You have always been the perfect cat and from the day I brought you home you never left our property… why? because you loved your home and family sooo much as we loved you. I am so glad that I got to take you on your last trip with us.

I know you didn’t feel good and that the end was near but the light came back into your eyes when I put you in the van to go on our trip. I’m so glad that you enjoyed the first few days and never stopped purring because you were so happy. I saw you declining and it broke my heart in a million pieces to know that this would be your last trip, but I thank God that I was there with you at your last moments and got to hold you in my arms and comfort you.

I know you knew how very much I loved you and will always love you. I also know beyond any doubt that you loved me and that you were totally devoted to your mom. You were the most special cat and my precious buddy.

I will always love you and hold you and our memories in my heart. I believe God has a special place for our best friends and I will see you again someday. Cross that Rainbow Bridge, my darling boy, and until I see you again, remember how much I love you and how you brought so much happiness into my life. You were, are, and will always be my Best Boy!
All my love always,
Mom

I thank God that He gave you to me,
Panther
