Peaches, you were with me for such a short time, only 4 months, yet I fell in love with you immediately…my 18 year old kitty, Chessy had passed away in March 2009 along with your companion Boot Kitty. You were my brother’s cat, but you were not happy there, so when I saw your living conditions I took you away to my home and you flourished and were so happy and affectionate, I adored you more than you could know…I miss you so much but know you are safe and happy now…you had health problems which were thought to be cured but you had a blood clot that within hours caused you blindness and failed health.
I could not see you suffer and my vet was so kind and said you were such a sweet kitty and so trusting. He gave you and I time to say goodbye until we meet again. I was so looking forward to spending many more years together as you were only 12, much too young to get sick as you did. I want you to know you were the “Light of My Life” which is the song I am dedicating to you to show the true love I felt for our short time together. I remember when my brother and his family first got you as I was with them and you spent your first night with me on my pillow and I was always so excited to see you when I would visit.
Please let Chessy, Sally and Boot Kitty know how much I miss them and I will see you all again so we can frolic and run through the fields of grass and flowers. I love you and will never forget our time together…you made my life complete…
