We lost our very beloved Beagle today due to long illness. It was a very painful decision. We made her a solid promise we would not let her live in pain for our our greed. We are devestated with the loss and her two brothers are lost as well. She was rescued by me from a very busy intersection where she had serious abuse issues and no trust to humans. She was starved and terrified. We had the great fortune of her eventual trust and love and appreciation so deep it was not measurable.
She LOVED everyone once she learned what we wanted for her and was bound and determined she was not gonna be hungry ever again. She became our liitle 33 lb chubby girl with a permagrin. Kidney failure finally got hold of her and we worked diligently for her quality of life for six months. . Lots of advice from her doctors and a long night with her brought the hardest decision in the world.
We loved Nana and she had our word she wasn’t gonna suffer for our benefit. After 7 years She joins her two older sisters of strays that joined our families over the years in our pet cemetery today with a nice memorial for her. I know now she is able to close her eyes, hold her self up and play effortlessly in the beautiful meadows God has provided. She has joined her canine family and will be with us again one day. THANKYOU NANA for your deepest love and memories. You will be missed forever.
Unconditionally loved always,
