Selene was the best friend and companion a human can have. She was happy, content, loyal, funny, affectionate, attentive, and compassionate. I did not save her (from the shelter), she saved me. When humans are all too quick to stab in the back and betray, Selene’s love and acceptance was steadfast. My life is empty without you. But I know you loved me and you know I loved you. You play nice with the other animals at Rainbow Bridge. I will be with you soon. Thank you for giving me the most beautiful and wonderful 6 years of my life. Until then….
