I came to hard choice to have my cat put to sleep yesterday. My cat hadn’t been well for a few days and yesterday he could hardly move. I couldn’t see him suffer any more and felt for his dignity I should put him to sleep. My only regret is that I didn’t stay with him until the end. I spent a hour with him before going to the vets, him sitting on my lap and just petting him. He liked laying down on me and just resting. I wasn’t sure I could watch him being put to sleep but feel terrible that he would have been scared alone with a stranger. Hope he’s at peace now. I’ll never forget you.
