Callie O’Malley by Carol / Mommie, Bluie & Zif (Baby)

Callie came to us on a cold winter night at approximately six weeks old, her owners could not keep her as she had Leukemia and they had other cats. On that cold night her owners had tears streaming down their faces, Callie sat in my arms purring at the top of the steps. Callie was caring, loving and beautiful! Callie has a sister Bluie who is two months older, but Callie was always the leader the teacher! Than about three months ago came “baby” (now Zif T.U. Greg), full of deer ticks and fleas, her mom and siblings eaten by a Coyote.

Callie thought she was mommy Bluie hissed!!! Callie taught Zif EVERYTHING as Zif was only about three weeks old, Callie would grab Zif by the scruff of her neck and bring her into my bed every night! Than Callie got out!! I called and looked and looked NO Callie!! The next morning I found her beautiful body stiff in the gutter covered with flies, her left eye was gone and some blood was on the left side of her mouth. I shooed all the bugs from my baby and picked her up and took her home, she is now in my garden. I wish 100 times, if only 100 times.

I am so sorry Callie, I wish God gave me something and let you stay here, I will never forgive myself!! My heart hurts more as the days go by, Bluie and Zif look all over for Callie my life is a mess!! Oh my beautiful Callie I will never forget the last time I saw your face! We will miss you ALWAYS!!!! The tears and pain will never go. Please God be good to our baby she only likes Sheba with tuna & mussels and lots of fresh water! Most of all hold her close and pet and rub her and give her lots of kisses and hugs, Callie loved that! Please take care of her
for us till we get there!

HEARTBROKEN FOREVER CAL,
Callie O'Malley
