Sam was my first cat and my first Siamese.

He came living with me in spring 1983.

He grew up to become a wonderful big Siamese cat. He was a real friend. Wherever I went, Sam went with me. He followed me all around the house having long conversations with me.

He was a great friend. And a beautiful Siamese cat with the deepest blue eyes one can imagine.

In February 1993 Sam got a kidney problem and in the evening of February 19, 1993 Sam passed away.

Today in 2003 more than 10 years later I still miss Sam. He was a big part of my life.

 

Dotty was my little old lady. She came to me in 1990 when she was already 12 years old. Together with her daughter, Kleintje, she took over the house.

She lived with us for 13 years. They were 13 lovely years. Dotty was a wonderful friend. She had no more teeth, but she always enjoyed her food.

Just sleeping in her basket in the sun was an adventure for her. Sitting on a warm lap was the best for Dotty. She enjoyed every bit of her life.

Unfortunately at the age of 25 years she developed cancer. On October 13 she lost the battle.

Dotty, you were a sweetie.
You will always be in my mind.
