Genesis, I will never get over what happened to you and how you left me. I know that you didn’t know how dangerous your little ‘adventure’ would be. It wasn’t your fault – the ones whom I trusted to look after you were wrong. I am so sorry for those four days where you must have been afraid, lonely and uncomfortable. I hope that you know that if I could change it all, I would. I never wanted you to go.
Now I know that you are back with your mother, sisters and brother (probably your father & uncle too). I smile when I think of all of you little guys up there running and playing again together.
Just remember that I love you so much and that I miss you terribly, Gunny. Don’t worry, we will all see each other again.
