I would never have dreamed
that it would be the last time
I saw you alive that morning in January
when I drove off to work.
When I came home that evening
it was the worst day of my life.
I found your cold body lying covered in blood and rain
in the middle of the street.
Killed by a speeding motorist.
He left your body lying in the middle of the street
like a piece of rubbish!
How could anyone do that!
You provided me with companionship
and unconditional love
which has left a hollow empty feeling
in my heart living without it.
I miss our conversations and watchingTV together
and cuddling up in bed reading a good book.
Your sister is pining for you....
She can't understand where you have gone.
I look out of the kitchen window across the garden
at your grave every day
and place fresh flowers there for you!
We lit a candle once we buried you
and even though it went out as it burnt down
..in our hearts your flame will burn forever.
You are a special cat Bailey and will be sorely missed
by many of mommy's friends and family!
I know we will meet again one day in Heaven.
Hang on for me Bailey until that day
comes.
