Dobermans
We have had to put 2 of our Dobermans to sleep.
The pain only subsides it never goes away.
Bandit was the first. He was a coal black big baby.
Then came Falon. She was a mommies girl.
My husband worked a lot so she became my company most
of the time. It absolutely tore my heart in two to see her go.
It was hard in the mornings not to have her there.
I had to remind myself she wasn't coming back.
It really never gets better. That was in the late 1994 and I can
still bawl thinking about her or even telling someone about her.
She may not have been beautiful to others but she was our
baby for 10 wonderful years and we will miss her forever.
I don't have kids so she and Bandit were our kids.
I will never find another dog as good and gentle and
loving as she was. I will forever miss her in my aching heart.
I know she is in a better place but she was MY "little girl" and
my heart just can't believe it.
