Baxter by Debera

Baxter came to live with us after my mother-in-law passed as other family members were going to put him asleep. Bax fit right in with Otis Sydney Bear. Buddy Girl and Brandi. Was my home growing. He had been abused but we were buddies. No one gave him any flack. He was special {although I don’t like cockers in general} because he wasn’t wanted. Deb to the rescue and I wouldn’t change it.

When I lost Brandi Bear and Buddy Girl so close together he knew I needed him. He also accepted the others. He had his way. Then in April of 2000 I found a lump. Got him to the vet and he biopsy but he thought possible lymphadoma. So he had surgery to remove growths third week of April.

He lost two lymph glands growths on neck and head. Results worst grade carcoma grade 4. Vet said make him comfortable and any chages come in. On May 3 I noticed more growing called vet and he said no way so took him in vet checked and we looked at each other and I said it is time.

Again I held him but couldn’t bury him so he was cremated and returned to me and buried with a yellow rose and native ceremony. He is with Sam Dutchess Brandi Bear Buddy Girl and my mom watching over me and one day I will be with them all.
