My sweet baby kitten… I never thought you’d leave me; and although you were my best friend for 17 years, it seems like only yesterday that I picked you up, cradled you like a baby, and you looked at me with golden sweet eyes and purred.
I knew you were going to be a true blessing even then. I miss you so much, and although I know your pain is gone and you are no longer suffering, my selfish heart wants to hold you one more time, feel you purr as I fall asleep, and hear you “talk” to me again. I wasn’t ready to let you go, and life is so quiet and lonely without you. I will miss you forever…
