Bowsie came into our life's when she was
3 weeks old and what a blessing she was.
She was always there through the good times
and the bad. She never gave up on us.
She was our confidant our protector our best friend
and a part of our family and lives.
She watched over our sons as they grew into fine young men
and she was there to see them off to college.
That was a sad and happy day for all of us.
She was there as company when my husband was told he
had Muscular Dystrophy and had to stop work.
She was always there waiting by the door when
I came home from work.
She was a small dog half pom and half Chihuahua,
but she had a heart as big as a Great Dane.
We were told 3 years ago she had a really bad heart
and probably wouldn't live past a year
what did the vet know? Bowsie wasn't ready to die.
She was there the day I came home and told my husband
I had been laid off and the day I filed for disability.
She became sick on Tuesday of the week she died.
She was treated and seemed to get better she would
take her walks outside she walked the whole yard
and would look back to see if we were watching and
would lay down for a rest and then get up and
move to another area always keeping her eyes on us
you see she was also deaf.
I think she was taking one last look at her home.
We left to go visit our sons at college on Feb. 13th
as she seemed to be better but when we got home
we found her lying in the Living room.
We thought she was asleep but she wasn't.
The part that really hurts is that we weren't here for
her when she passed away.
She had always been here for us and when
she needed us we were gone.
That is what hurts the most that we weren't there
to hold and comfort her on her journey home.
I know in my heart she is at peace and no longer suffering but
she had been with us so long it is like loosing apart of yourself.
Life goes on but it will never be the same without her.
She was an angel here on earth and that is never easy to give up.
I only hope and pray that she is waiting for us as we come Home.
I know we will see her again...for He made her just for us...
Bowsie we love you and always will
we will never forget you.
You will live in our hearts until the day we die
and come to be with you.
Please forgive us for not being here when you went Home.
Had we known we would never have left you...
Precious little one have fun running and playing with
everyone in Heaven and if you see my Dad
tell him he is still in our Hearts also.
Thank You Bowsie for giving so much of
yourself to your family you made a difference.
WE LOVE YOU NOW AND FOREVER.......
Love you Family,
Mom Dad Chris and Tommy
