Its only been a week since we had to say good-bye.
Our hearts are breaking.
We look at the spot in the family room where you
used to lay, it is just so empty and quiet.
The only thing that helps ease the pain is knowing
“you” are now out of yours. Now you can do all
the things you used to, with-out restriction
and discomfort.
You gave us 8 years of such joy and happiness.
Our 240lb baby, so gentle and loving.
Thank-you for so many great memories:
Playing in the sprinkler
Howling when you heard us drive into the garage
Carrying your toys outside and back in again
Following us to the mailbox and carrying the
mail back to the house, alot wetter of course
The way you would sit on the couch
Hogging the bed at night
Bouncing after the cats when it was time for
your dinner
Barking and pawing at a little toad outside
Thank-you again for all of the above and mostly
for your Love.
We will miss you always.
The tears will never stop.
