Buddy, I miss you so much, It’s so hard to believe you’re gone. I feel so lost and alone without you, there are times I feel as if I can’t breath, my heart aches for you. You were rescued after being thrown from a van and had to learn how to trust and love again. You gave me more love, companionship and joy than I ever deserved. Papaw misses you chasing him thru the house and standing on his feet while mamaw misses rubbing your ears and your sweet kisses. The day I had to put you to sleep was the hardest day of my life. I told you that when you closed your eyes and saw my face for the last time the next face you would see would be Jesus and he would be so happy to have you home.
I am sure he held you close and said “Good job my faithful servant”. You were an amazing and magnificent creature. I have been so blessed to have had you in my life. I ask Jesus everyday to pick you up and hug you and whisper in your ear that your momma loves and misses you, but, one day we will be together again. Remember your momma loves you a bushel and a peck and a hug around your neck and all the way to heaven and back! I love you and miss you precious Buddy dog.
