Buster Vaughn by Linda Vaughn / Mom

Buster was my companion for 19 years, and he and I were so close. He’d greet me every morning with his paw as if to say, “get up mom” and I would get up with him following me to the kitchen to give him his food. I would come home from work, he would greet me at the door and then jump in my lap while I was relaxing, and he would do the same. Buster had renal failure and was quite sick. I just had a problem letting him go, but on last Friday the 13th, he looked at me and I knew, it’s time. I pray that he’s safe and that he’s in heaven because I miss him so very much. When I go home, he’s not there and that’s the hardest. At night he would sleep at the foot of my bed, but now he’s no longer there. I will always remember and revere his life as he did the same for me!

Much Love and Purrs,
Buster Vaughn
