Apollo, we miss you so much. it has been almost 3 years since we had to let you go but we couldn’t let you suffer any longer. I cried for so many nights after that day in July of 2001 and I still cry when I see your picture on the wall. We planted a “redbud” tree on your favorite spot in the backyard and each year it is more beautiful. It is a constant reminder of the happiness you brought to our home. I do want you to know that we found us another boxer puppy five weeks after we lost you. We just couldn’t go on without having a boxer in this house. It was too empty and I am sure you understand. He has helped to ease the pain but we will never forget you. I know you are happy for us and you know that this new dog “Blazer” has a wonderful home just like you did for the 9 years we had you.
