In Loving Memory
Of
“Buttons”

My wife & I would like to tell you about our beloved puppy dog, Buttons. Buttons was a 13 ½ year old Shih Tzu, grey & white in color with pigtails on her head.

Buttons was not your typical Shih Tzu, she traveled everywhere with us. She was our resident cul-de-sac greeter dog. She has been to Michigan, Texas, and Nebraska. And all over Colorado and has visited many, many parking lots!

Every time my wife & I even thought about going somewhere, Buttons was right there at the front door ready to go! She even went into places like Home Improvement Stores and Pet Warehouse Stores.

She always had her favorite blanket in the backseat of our car. We always provided her with doggy treats & water and she was in pure heaven when she got to go with us. Buttons was always allowed to sleep in bed with us and she even put up with the cat too!

Buttons loved, and was loved by almost (99.99%) of the people and kids she came in contact with. I can remember only a couple of people she did not approve of. Everyone loved her very much.

Over time, Buttons developed some medical conditions that ultimately put my wife & myself in an extremely difficult position. She could not see nor hear very well at all, and had a very severe heart condition.

On May 8th of this year, 2004, Buttons was laid to rest.
We know she is watching over us and will protect and wait for us at Rainbow Bridge until we can all be together again. She will be greatly missed by everyone whose lives she touched.

With Love Always,
Dave & SuAnn
