My dearest little Koa,
Today is Mother’s day and I am thinking about you and how we only had one Mother’s day together. I wish you were here to spend the days with us and the nights as well. It seems like you have been gone such a long time yet I keep thinking you’ll be back someday. I just can’t let you go. I see you in my mind a few times each day and am sad to think of your 22 months here on this Earth. Such a short time to have made such a big mark on my heart. Collin came to be with you this week and I hope you are having fun. You waited so long for him to come play with you and now finally you have a friend with you. Please be nice to each other and stick together. I will try to picture the two of you together having fun on the beach as you used to in Half Moon Bay.
