To: Carly my beloved dog –
You passed on Monday, May 21, 2007. I cannot believe after over 16 years of companionship, love and loyalty you are now gone. My heart feels empty and I feel a huge void in my life. It seems as if my life has once again been torn apart and I am drifting without purpose. You were there for me when my Mother died and caught my tears on your soft coat and let me hug you to console me. I know you’ve gone on to be with her – she always considered herself your Grandma – and I know she will welcome you with loving arms. I will miss you forever – I may get another dog someday, but it will never ever replace your constant loyalty and unconditional love and support you gave me every single moment we were together. I’ll see you again at the end and we will once again be able to run and play together.
