Cassie by Al and LInda Denis & Family / Dad, Mom, Connie, Phil, Megan, and Lance

Cassie it’s been a long time since you passed, Mom and I have been rescuing unwanted puppies and dogs and it was all started by you.

You came to us from a friend on February 14th, the family joke was you were mom’s Valentine’s Day present and a present you were.

You taught us all in the brief time you were with us. You taught mom about caine love, Connie about protecting those you love at any cost, Philip, about love and me, you taught me not to take for granted what you have, because you may wake up someday and not have it.

There is a hole in our hearts where you were, that hole will never be filled you are a special little girl and we miss you so.

We’ve been asking a lot of you lately, because we have lost other furbabies and we have asked you to take care of them. I’m sure you are, because that was you.

We know that this is not a final goodbye, we will see you at the rainbow bridge, I know it, until then I’m closing my eyes and imagining how it felt to feel your velvet ears, and your head in my lap, or hearing you disgruntle “humph” when we don’t understand what you want. We miss you baby girl,
we really do.

Love Always,
Cassie
