My beloved Charlie
I remember the day you came to me as if it were yesterday.
You walked into my room with your trainer.
You were so attatched to him but I soon won your heart and love
and we were inseperable ever since. You were so confident and
had enough strength and courage for both of us. I could
never have asked for a better guide and friend.
You were the best Leader Dog anyone could have ever had.
I never expected to lose you so soon. You became so ill so suddenly.
We tried to do everything we could to make you well and save you
but to no avail. I felt so powerless knowing how you trusted me
and hoped I could fix it.
If love could have brought you back you would be here beside me
right now. I will have other dogs guiding me safely but please remember
that you will always be in my heart and never forgotten.
You'll always have a big place in my heart and your harness
will remain in a special place.
I love you so very much and miss you.
Wait for me on the other side of Rainbow Bridge and
I'll join you when it's my time.
