Cimeron by John & Bekye Eckert / John and Bekye and your dinner buddies

Today another precious angel flew to heaven; it was sudden, unexpected, and caught us entirely off guard.

Our Cimeron came to us in July 2009 when his family decided an older dog who had bladder stones and glaucoma was just too much trouble. Once the stones and one eye were gone, we had a new little man! He had attitude. He liked his space, he liked things on his terms, and he liked TV. He really liked TV! So finally my husband had someone
to watch “24” with!

Cimeron was an enthusiastic little fellow who did not act like a senior dog. Until today. It was as if he put everything he had into everything he did, and when it was time to go, he just stopped. And there was nothing that could be done to keep him here.

In loving memory of Cimeron ~

Remember Our Love

I was chosen today,
I’m learning to fly,
The world took me away,
but please don’t you cry.

*****

And I chose you today
to try and be strong
so please don’t you cry
and don’t say that I’m gone.

*****

When you’re feeling alone,
just remember our love.
I’m up near the stars,
looking down from above.

*****

Remember our love,
In a moment you’ll see,
that I’m still here beside you
when you’re thinking of me.
