Edna by Andrew / Andrew, Dack, Abby, Nancy, and Dace

For the majority of her life she wasn’t able to bare exploring the house, interacting with other cats or humans. Through 2 houses and many years she would seclude herself away in a high corner somewhere without much traffic. But in the twilight years of her life, after she could no longer jump to the high spots, she was forced to become a part of the family and to interact with us, and a cat who had been inverted, scared, asocial her whole life, slowly had to learn to interact with the rest of us. I have had and have lost many cats, but I will always remember and be touched by the way Edna turned her life around. She went from having a lonely scared life to coming out of her shell to us and our other cats.

I am so glad that she got in 2 or 3 years of getting to discover what life was really about I think she really came to enjoy it. I take solace in knowing her last years were her happiest, that she bloomed like a delicate flower,
or became a beautiful butterfly.

Please, enjoy wherever you are now the best you can.
