Emily by Jon Litman / Pappa

I will always remember your gentle nature, your chattiness and your beautiful face. When ever you got just the slightest bit of attention, you would purr so loudly; I could even hear you purr over Metallica. Even in your latter years, the word “treats” would send you running to me for your goodies. If I was feeling bad, you would comfort me; when I was feeling good, you made me feel great.

I miss you, Emily. I know you’re with God now and you are free from suffering. In fact I believe God is wearing Levis Jeans so you can sit on your favorite fabric. Thank you for looking after me for all these years.

I love you,
Emily
