You were my babies for so long,
sweetest kitties I ever had,
I never expected something like this,
Its been a while since I felt this sad.

When I first got you,
I never expected to keep you as long as I did,
I don’t regret any of it,
I’m glad that I did.

I fell in love with you from the start,
It wasn’t hard to do,
I will love you always,
From the bottom of my heart.

I wish it wouldn’t have ended like this,
I wish I could have took you back,
To your home with me,
Which I’m sure you missed.

One thing I’ll always regret,
Is taking you back after so long,
You probably thought I didn’t love you,
But that’s all wrong.

I knew it was temperarily from the start,
I just hoped it wouldn’t be,
I probably hurt you more than I helped,
That was very selfish of me.

I led you to believe,
That you would stay with me forever,
you probably thought I abandoned you,
When you had to leave.

If I had it my way,
You would still be here with me,
No matter what happened,
Here at home you would be.

You were always so sweet,
And as playful as can be,
My precious lil’ babies,
I love you so much.
