This is for our beautiful Franky. We had to put her to sleep today, two months shy of what we believe would have been her 20th birthday. Everyone says she lived a long happy life, but it doesn’t help. We buried her high on a hill where it is sunny most of the day, looking over the Mississippi. She loved to be up high and lay in the sun. I know it is just her body, but I can’t help but feel bad that she is in the cold ground, so far away from us. We love her and will miss her so very much. Franky, we will think about you always.
