I got JD In 1988 after I lost my First Border Collie ” Mikie” JD was my Hero he helped me get thur some tough times. There was nothing like coming home and having JD greet you at the door with such excitement..

I took JD every where I could.. As a Youngster he worked at Canine Companions with Me for a 1 yr; we went to work every day together. It was then (1990) I found out that My best friend in the whole world had very bad hip displyasia and I decide that wasn’t gonna stop our routine..

So for yrs we carried on as though he was still my 5 m old pup..JD made several moves with me and went thur temporary separations.

The end of 2000 I found out I was pregnant. I had a rough Pregnancy and had to stay home. My hero JD stayed by my side and never left me. When my daughter was born, he took on the job as her Guardian and never left her for a moment. Then In 2003 Jd went down hill very fast. He got a disease called Cushions disease. At age 15 I felt that he was suffering so bad so I wanted to be his angel for a day and had to make that tough decision.. On September 9 th 2003 JD took his last truck ride with Me.. It was the saddest and darkest day of my life… My best friend and Hero of 15 yrs would not ride home with me. JD’s memory will live on for ever with me and my family..I will love you for ever Jigger Toes !!!
