Kristen was a little stray in a dog’s home in August l974. We loved her instantly. She was so afraid. lt took us a while to convince her she was ours and loved so much and was staying with us for the rest of her life. Her gentle nature, her good behaviour, made her loved by everyone who met her. In l986 Kristen showed signs of illness very suddenly and was taken to the vets right away where we stayed with her while she was gently put to sleep with my arms around her.
Kris was then about l4 years old. She might have had a bad start in her life before we found her in that dogs home but she had a wonderful life with us. I never forget her for a day all these years after her death and I love her so much and always will.
