You stood by me from the moment I brought you home. Your sweet and kind nature shown to all who meet you. Your life with us was way too short and I still don’t understand why but my dear sweet friend. I am glad that I was able to carry you the last steps of the long green mile that you did not go it alone like I know you would of done for me…. Latte’ sweetie your always going to be in our hearts with us forever till we all meet again.
You and Pepper even taught us a precious lesson after the end. While you lay in wait of your final resting place. In a the forrest we used to play and boat at a beautiful place we all enjoyed. Pepper smelled you in your pine box so we let her see you one last time. She climbed in and gave you doggy kisses on your face despite Jim saying she’d never understand she did.
Then when we laid you to rest and covered you with the earth Pepper cried the pain only a broken hearted doggy could feel knowing you were not going to be there. Here you two had been rivals for three years but in the short time you took sick with this horrible cancer. She and you set all that aside and the bond between you two had been set for all eternity thru a grace no human would know.
We learned that day that dogs have such a deep love and understanding that humans underestimate all the time and only you and Pepper could show us that. All I can say is thank you……………
