Lookie by Matthew & Mary

Hi My name is Matt

Well my mom was looking yesterday for her horse and she could not find Lookie. And then on June 20 02 that’s today I went looking for him on my dirt bike Honda 70. And I could not find him. Then me and my mom went looking for him in my mom’s 4×4 blue truck and we went out in a 89 acre pasture and we looked all over. And then we went to look in a hamoke where there are trees and bushes and sometimes ditches and were all the horses get there grape fruit.

And then we walked and walked and walked and then I smelt something and then I looked over at a tree and I started crying. I said mom he is dead; he is gone that’s just a shell and the spirit went up. Then she yelled Lookie and she ran over to him and said “LOOKIE CAN YOU HEAR ME. PLEASE NEIGH PLEASE BE ALIVE!!!” and no sound then I stood there for a few minutes and cried. And my mom got up and said ”HE IS GONE MATT NO MORE LOOKIE!!!!” And then we walked back to the car and sat there for a few seconds and we rushed back to a barn near by and cried and cried and cried and my mom’s friend lives at the ranch and we went to her door and her name is Kim and she has a horse called Sabina and she’s around 4 years old that’s what Kim said.

Then I had to leave with my dad and that is the last I saw our Lookers. 🙁 Me and my mom said goodbye and kissed and hugged and I left. And we only have pictures of him. And we think he got struck by lightning.

God Bless everyone
who reads this letter
and we love you
Lookie goodbye
