You gave your Lucy a happy home
and had her for a lot of years.
Now she has gone to a better place,
so you only need to shed happy tears.
She filled your hearts with so much love,
with all her cute little ways.
Now she lives her new life out,
enjoying life with sunny days.
Days without sadness or pain,
she plays all day long.
She runs along green pastures,
feeling happy and strong.
She is peaceful and content,
though missing you still.
You’ll see her again someday,
sitting up on a hill.
Love never goes away,
it will always be there;
in your mind or in your heart,
but always someplace, somewhere.
