Oh, Lucy, how I miss you. You were the best dog there ever was – so much a part of my life that I took you for granted for quite a while. I wish I hadn’t done that. That was a mistake. I’d give anything to have one more day with you. I’d watch with wonder everything you’d do, I’d pick you up and cuddle you for hours, I wish, I wish, if only wishing made it so. Please know that I will always love you, and that I’ll miss you until we’re together again.
