Mandy by Bob, Daniel, Karen and Katie / Mom, Dad, Daniel and Katie

To Mandy:

We all miss you so much. We think about you every day. We wish you were still here, too. You left such a huge impact on our lives. You gave us 18 years of unconditional and endless love. We hope that we gave you the same amount you gave to us. There will never be another dog like you. You were one of a kind, Mandy, and we will never love any animal as much as we did you. You were Mom and Dad’s first baby, and you always will be. We know you were jealous when Daniel and I were born, but we’re all very glad that you warmed up to us. It’s been really hard without you.

Every day when I come home, I want to hold you in my arms like I used to, but even though I can’t, I will hold you in my heart forever. You were the best dog ever. I hope you’re happy, where ever you are, and we will never forget you. I wrote this poem just for you:

For Mandy

You will forever be in my heart,
Even though you are gone,
Please don’t forget, Mandy,
Your memory will live on and on.

If I could say one thing to you, Mandy,
I would say thank-you,
For giving me so much love
And taking my love, too.

If I could hold you,
Just one more time,
I would feel so good,
And everything else would feel fine.

We all love you and miss you, Mandy.
